Speech Pathologist – Christie Izzo:

Christie Izzo is a Brooklyn-based speech language pathologist with over ten years of experience in her field. A graduate of Teacher’s College/Columbia University, Christie works with clients from all different backgrounds, including children with various developmental delays, expressive and receptive language disorders, speech/articulation challenges, and social skills concerns. Additionally, Christie has expertise working with children and adults who have experienced a stroke or traumatic brain injury and present with language, speech, cognitive, voice, or feeding issues. She has extensive training in a host of methodologies including PROMPT, LSVT, and PECS. Christie currently works at the brain injury rehab unit at NYU Rusk Hospital and has a private practice. She provides evaluations, as well as individual and group based therapy, in the Brooklyn area.
