Summer Reading Therapy at Prospect Park
Summer Warm-Up for Rising 1st Graders
Summer is a great time to warm up for reading in 1st grade! Students entering 1st grade this fall CAN successfully battle the notorious summer slide! Led by educator Traci Timmons, young students will strengthen their ability to read and spell through multi-sensory games and the discovery of how words work. Join us in the park!
This is not a drop-off class. Parents and caregivers have the opportunity to learn how to further support their young readers as they continue their journey in reading and writing.
Ideal for families whose Kindergarten teachers recommended summer work on reading and spelling.
