Traci Timmons has nearly 20 years experience as a literacy instructor in Kentucky and New York City. She implements research-based multi-sensory methods, focusing on developing phonological awareness and phonics skills for reading and spelling. Traci offers one-to-one sessions for students ages four to adult that are tailored to the unique literacy needs of each individual. In 1999, she began working as a teaching clinician and assessment coordinator at The Langsford Center, in Louisville, Kentucky, offering intensive daily instruction in a clinical environment. In 2004, Traci moved to NYC and taught for Lindamood- Bell Learning Center in Manhattan before establishing her own practice in Brooklyn. Traci has taught at Little Ones, an early childhood learning center and Pre-K in Long Island City. She acted as director of a learning center in DUMBO which introduced literacy, art, math, and chess skills to 3 and 4 year-olds in a small classroom setting. Traci holds a degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication from Western Kentucky University.
